Keep America Beautiful, Electronic Recycling Event on 11/15 at KerberRose

Reduce, reuse, and recycle! America Recycles Day will be celebrating its 21st anniversary on November 15th. KerberRose is proud to partner with the Keep America Beautiful Initiative to host an electronic recycling event to celebrate America Recycles Day at their Shawano location. Local individuals and businesses can drop off unwanted and unused electronic items from Noon to 3pm at 115 East Fifth Street.

Electronic items that will be collected (with no charge) include:

  • Computer Towers
  • Laptops
  • Cell Phones
  • Servers
  • Wire & Cabling
  • Keyboards/Mouse
  • Microwave Ovens
  • Dehumidifiers/AC Units
  • Refrigerators
  • Copiers/Printers
  • Phone Systems
  • Stereos/CD Players
  • Rechargeable Batteries
  • Washers, Dryers & Stoves
  • Household Appliances, big & small!
  • Anything Metal

Individuals can also drop off monitors or television sets, but those will come with a small fee:

  • Monitors – $10
  • TVs – $15
  • Flat Panel TVs – $15
  • TVs over 30” – $30
  • Console TVs – $30

Electronic recycling services are provided by Norsec Recyclers LLC. Hot chocolate will be available for those that drop off electronic items (provided by Beans & Books Coffeehouse).
