KerberRose Hosts Personal Hygiene Drive to Benefit United Way

During the month of August, KerberRose will host a Personal Hygiene Drive to benefit the Oshkosh United Way.

Obtaining personal hygiene products can be a challenge for local families. Can you imagine being a parent who has to chose between paying bills and purchasing personal hygiene items? According to a study conducted by Feeding America, 58% of low-income individuals who were unable to buy personal care products reported cutting back on food to afford toiletries, and 40% reported skipping or delaying rent payments to obtain products. In addition, 47% of study participants reported feeling stressed and worried often or constantly. To help ease this strain, KerberRose is partnering with the Oshkosh United Way during the month of August to feature a “Personal Hygiene Drive.”

The Oshkosh United Way assists local families bridge the gap for families needing assistance. The supply drive will be accepting a variety of items through August 31, 2019. Examples include:

• Soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash
• Toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, mouthwash
• Comb, brush, razors, shaving cream
• Deodorant, nail clippers, chap stick, tweezers, Q-tips

Personal hygiene items may be dropped off at KerberRose Certified Public Accountants at 1750 West Pointe Drive in Oshkosh. Drop off times are Monday through Thursday 9 am to 5 pm. If you have questions, please contact KerberRose (920) 426-1040.
